If anyone is wondering who Pat McAfee is, he's a sports analyst in America and he is absolutely huge over there. There's no one I can think of in the UK to really compare him to, but he has enormous mainstream crossover appeal. It's not dry broadsheet style output, either, he's a very entertaining guy. (You can probably already tell that from the look of his studio.)

2.18 million subs on YouTube, 40 odd thousand watching that stream live. Usually around half a million to upwards of a million will watch that stream at some point in the next few days. Massive, massive numbers. Might sell some hats. Nice.

Preseason USA tours will be happening either this summer or next I suspect.

That cap is a prime example of why a better looking and more versatile club crest is a good idea.

I'd prefer to also have Burnley FC actually written on it. People will see the cap and won't have a clue what it represents.

I’d be amazed if the owners weren’t eyeing a new club crest. The current one is archaic.

Yeah, I’d hazard a guess that hardly anybody who is not a Burnley fan will know that’s a Burnley cap.

The badge on the cap is the badge from the shirt in the mid-late 70s.

Is it the same Pat McAfee that was an NFL kicker, famed for actually tackling which very few kickers do ?

The interest from South Africa, thanks to Foster, is another opportunity to influence the wearing of BFC merchandise as a cool look.

I think we need to up our game in terms of both the products available and how easy they are to get hold of. If my latest experience of the retail website is anything to go by, it ain’t great.

I like how McAfee's got Bud Lights at hand on St. Patrick's Day. They'll come in really handy when he decides to start sobering up.

I find it a dereliction of duty in this day and age to not have a easy to navigate online browsing and purchase experience at BFC, including a myriad of payment options. This goes for both merchandise and ticket purchasing.
I know that once upon a time this would have been seen as a bit far out, but not now, it's the minimum expected. It's not as though the software and fulfillment capabilities aren't available, they are in abundance.
It's as though the backend needs someone to effect it, in the same way that Dyche did on the playing side of the business when he turned up.
