Bojo just sworn on the bible that what he’s about to say is the truth.
So everything should be fine now.

Did anyone manage to keep a straight face when Boris promised to tell the truth?

He also said “hand on heart” so he must be telling the truth.

Its good fun to be honest
Got it on in the background
So he's blamed everyone else but him for his woes, which is 100% what everybody expected
Whatever happens today he's toast and that is a good thing

The only thing anyone can be certain of is that if Boris loses he will do everything in his power to bring Rishi Sunak down with him.

If you think this fiasco is bad you want to endure the SNP leadership contest.
Let's be honest none of them give a toss as they'll all be dining out on their huge salaries and pensions funded by the long suffering tax payers as ever.

Hardly fair to accuse the bloke of misleading parliament.
He didn't mislead anyone with more than a single digit IQ.

Ah, I remember those halcyon days of the threads on here where people were insistent that it was irrelevant that Boris Johnson was a serial liar and it definitely didn't mean he'd lie when he was PM.

Can't remember who the poster was but I was told they weren't sure if he was a liar as he had never told a direct lie to that poster

Only one poster could possibly come out with nonsense like that.

Johnson is a proven serial liar . The great British Public now understand this and even his own Tory Party understand it . The everlasting shame is that he became PM of this great country of ours having a track record of ‘ being economical with the truth’ ….. he had already been sacked from three jobs for telling lies . It’s karma coming back to bite him on the bum and fantastic to watch him squirm in front of the Committee and make an even bigger fool of himself .

Pinocchio Johnson unfortunately was PM and has taken the ‘ art of lying ‘ to a whole new level . When he opens his mouth invariably he lies …. when his mouth is shut he is thinking about lying ….

This is where I have an issue I'm afraid
Boris Johnson is clearly
But not all of them are, and it suits those like Boris Johnson that we should all think this
Put it simply, the democracy that we have relies on us voting for people who deserve to lead us, whether that be Tory, labour, green, Lid Dem, SNP whatever

The Lid Dems would top all other parties

You are allowed to have issues. Politicians start of with good intent and often work really well locally with clear vision and ability to work across parity
They then get recognised, groomed and promoted. In order to progress they have to swallow a coloured pill (red, blue yellow whatever) they have to wave a coloured flag and pretend that everything their colour represents is great and ever other colour is tarnished. They have to resilient and ruthless and determined and toe the party line. In doing so they become distant and unrecognisable from the good soul that believed that he could make a difference at local level.
It’s the School of Politics. It promotes shoite behaviour and self idolatry.

Politicians are the only people who are allowed to stand on your doorstep or look into a camera and tell terminological inexactitudes.
