Not sure if it’s a conspiracy theory or not.

But population collapse is a really interesting theory. It certainly makes a lot of sense the more you read into it

I’ve seen things about ancient civilisations (Egyptians, Monks) using sound/frequency to lift heavy objects, technology which is now lost.

There’s another theory about a mud flood, which makes you think what’s actually buried metres below the ground, there could be whole cities - Sahara desert too for example.

These two are what I’ve been looking at currently, it’s likely all complete nonsense but it’s interesting nonetheless !

I wouldn't say chemtrails are a conspiracy theory, they've been cloud seeding since the 50's.

Lost cities in the Amazon

9/11

Moon landings

I’ve watched some brilliant documentaries on YouTube, complete batshit but I can see how folk buy in to it if they’ve spent years smoking cannabis

What I find interesting is the science behind the dramatic rise in those following conspiracy theories, as a result of the last few years.

It’s also interesting that people who believe one conspiracy theory often also believe many more.. showing its a mental state rather than purely the theory itself.

The 'theories' are a load of easily debunked s**te, but quite interesting what it is about human psychology that makes people look for and embrace them.

Part of the official moon landing photographs were shot in a studio, there was no attempt by NASA to deny this.

One of my colleagues has a folder of the official press release photographs and it's quite clear which were shot in a studio.

Can only imagine that a thousand conspiracy theories were launched from this inconsistency in the photographs

It is not so much the conspiracy theory that needs questioning so much as the official version of the truth. Jimmy Saville, Isaac Newton, the Big Bang, Everton being sound financially…

We live in a world where our beliefs change. We need to question everything we know. We learn more and we have to adapt. We shouldn’t be so smug in believing our world view is correct.

This is very true and an excellent point. At any one moment in time we can look back 10, 20, 50,100, 200, 500 years etc and debunk what were at those times soundly held theories and "knowledge". But we have to realise that is going to happen as infinitum, so at this moment in time there must be certain firmly held "knowledges" which will in time be proved utterly flawed and even ridiculous. I just which ones they are.

Whilst not wanting to start a no doubt protracted debate on Covid, I very much dispute the view that conspiracy theorists are / were “right” about covid. With the benefit of hindsight it’s clear that many bad decisions were made, but some of the conspiracist views are frankly delusional.

It’s the lack of clear evidence, or crumbs of inconsistencies, that these people latch on to in order to support their views, because it’s naturally difficult to disprove.

It’s not the point that an inconsistency in a chain of events means a whole different theory.

If you believe that conspiracy theorists were accurate then that’s your view, I’d just question which of the 125 theories they have been accurate on?

Yes, but Dave is unfortunately deceased himself and re-replaced by the real McCartney, who was cryogenically preserved. It's easy to tell.

The best conspiracy theories are the ones with no reason for them to exist

9/11 was an inside job. Why?
answer is often to justify the war in the middle east....for oil

The thing is if America want to invade the middle east, they can do that without killing thousands of their own citizens.

The vaccine has a microchip in it to track you.
Why? The government already probably track you with the devise you carry around 24/7

I can see why. She spent the evening at Fayed's hotel, drinking Fayed's drinks and eating Fayed's food, before setting off with Fayed's son in Fayed's car with Fayed's chauffeur driving. Is it any wonder the conspiracy theorists saw Prince Philip's name all over it! 😀

Nobody that has ever proposed the micro chip conspiracy has been able to answer the question as to how the chips are powered and how the data within them might be harvested.

Most of the conspiracy theories are the continuation and adaption of old secret societies. Therefore a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. One being the Illuminati. Often associated with the French Revolution, in fact it was a secret society in Strasbourg that over turned the town Government. The connection is Rousseau who was a native of the town and inspiration for both Robespierre and William Godwin, Mary Shelly, Percy Shelly and the Byron Circle, until the Terror when the society lost its support and dwindled to nothing.
