Today's footie 26/03

Just finished Man City 2 Chelsea 0 in the WSL, blowing the title race (a 4 horse affair) wide open. An enjoyable watch notable for the quality of Man City and also the Chelsea (away) fans doing a countdown from 7 every time the City 'keeper, Ellie Robuck, had the ball. A clever attempt to draw the ref's attention to potential time wasting.

A big win for Gareth Taylor and Man City, a mere 3 points split the top 4 plus Chelsea and Arsenal in 3rd and 4th have a game in hand.

Impossible to pick a WSL winner out of those 4 and it will likely go down to the final day again.

I wish I'd have put a few quid on Kazakhstan to beat Denmark with Denmark winning 2-0 with 20 mins to go.

What the hell is Kane playing at dropping into the midfield though? He’s a striker and should stay in the box.

Great goal by Saka , it's good to see Maddison having a free role .

I’ve quite liked Maddison’s performance. Chilwell could try get on the outside a bit more.

Am I in the minority regarding Bellingham. For a couple of years now I’ve listened to pundits talking about what a prospect he is and how he’s going to be some player. In all the times I’ve watched him I’ve not seen anything that leads me to think he’s anything special. I’d be interested to hear what others think.

Was superb in Naples in the first half the other night.

He’s a big talent but as always probably not as good as some of the hype although worth remembering he’s still very young.

The Ukraine young keepers bloody tall ... Madison jokingly hugged him just before the corner and he is fully a head taller

Maddison is only 175cm tall (5 feet 8 inches in old money) so most keepers would tower above James to be honest.

Getting "pulled off" at half time is a bit different to the "half an orange" we used to get
