Bristol City Tickets
Living in Bristol and unable to get to home games I try and get to a couple away each year. Will this be a popular game being last away game of the season or should I buy a home end ticket?

They go on sale this coming Monday, don't know how many we'll receive but I'd imagine they'd sell out

On sale before TV dates are announced by the looks of things.
Re: Bristol City Tickets
I think this one will be popular, last away game of a great season, bank holiday weekend, nice place for an overnight stay etc.

The club are considering a ballot for this game as well, anyone who has ever been to 1 game in the last 15 years can enter.

Did we agree the 25 pound deal with them?
Otherwise it looks like 33 quid an adult.

Adults will be £25
I think the first allocation is 2,500 but can go up to 4,200 if needed I've been told

Re: Bristol City Tickets
I only live an hour away so hopefully they will get to general sale. Shouldn’t be a problem if we take the whole stand. More so is we don’t. We only sold Reading tickets two days into general sale so the club might be tempted to just take the 2500?

Re: Bristol City Tickets
The away end is never shared with home fans so don't see why we won't have it all.

Re: Bristol City Tickets
Apparently they only give 2.2k ish and segregate the first 1/3rd of rows for every visiting team. So be another one that sells out and we get a restricted allocation in terms of the stand capacity..
Re: Bristol City Tickets
Middlesbrough have been allocated 2,500 initially with more available depending on how well they sell for their game at Bristol City.

Re: Bristol City Tickets
Hopefully we get the 4200 tickets. The problem will be if you buy your ticket and sky changes the date/kick off time .
Re: Bristol City Tickets
Can't see it being on TV, we'll have won the league by then and Bristol are in mid table.expoultryboy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 10:02 pmHopefully we get the 4200 tickets. The problem will be if you buy your ticket and sky changes the date/kick off time .
Re: Bristol City Tickets
RAIL STRIKES HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED
Please buy your tickets in advance as there will be
NO PAY ON THE DAY and this will NOT be changed
There is no hard copy match day programmes any more,
on line version available free of charge on the web site.
generally availble by the Thursday.
A hard copy can be purchased at a cost of five pounds, just ask for further info.
Coming by road.
Do NOT USE M4/M32 route and don't try to negotiate the roads and streets of Bristol
YOU WILL GET LOST
If you are coming by road use M4/M5 southbound to junction 18(Avonmouth) then follow signs A4 Bristol airport
It looks the long way round but its quicker.
Parking is normally in the streets around the area as long as you are there by 13:00am please don't block drive ways or park on corners.
If you are coming by train there is a local train service to PARSON STREET from Bristol Temple Meads
which leave at 25 minutes and 55 minutes past the hour.
Good train times as most trains from the London direction as well the North arrive at quarter to the hour or quarter past the hour
it takes you two thirds of the way to the ground and walk the rest of the way return by train to Bristol T.M. are at 37 minutes past the hour.
Using PARSON STREET will save you having to negotiate the ticket gates at Bristol Temple meads as there are no ticket gates at Parson Street
You will pass Sainsburys on the left with restaurant,Robins pub again on your left hand side
When you approach the ground I suggest you walk past wickes using the pavement
as the concourse area behind the big new stand gets very congested with bodies
Please make sure you get your train ticket showing PARSON STREET
We are trying to promote PARSON STREET for football fans till Ashton gate halt comes on line.
Split train tickets are available to Bristol from the London area using didcot parkway as your split ticket option
Group save tickets are available(one third off) on GWR trains but not cross country trains
If there are at least three of you arriving by train get a taxi
Make sure the taxi driver drops you in the Ashton Road end as it a very long walk round from the other end
or use the brown buses from the bottom of the incline of the station.
Which depart approximate 13:55pm with returns just after the match finishes
The return to London or the North trains leave Bristol Temple Meads at 17:30pm and I think you will struggle to get back to Bristol Temple meads for 17:30pm
Casualty and Holby City were filmed in the City don't ask me about either of the programmes cos I think their both rubbish
The young ones was also filmed in the BS7 area of the City(actually its Bishopston)
Finally the block of flats on the left behind the dolman stand side as you are in the away end is "the" block of flats in "fools and horses"
Bring your camera and turn up early if you want to take any photo's
Pubs possibly best one are in the cumberland road basin area novia scotia pump house and the cottage.
BBC Radio station is radio Bristol which has frequencies and 94:9 and DAB (and 95:5 up till 3pm),
and the match commentary will be on BBC radio Bristol
Please circulate to any other football forums and footy fans you may deem fit
If you need any further info, don't be afraid to ask

I agree, there's far more games with stuff riding on it that weekend...
Some tasty playoff spot games
Sunderland v Watford
West Brom v Norwich
B4stards v Luton
Then relegation one
Cardiff v Huddersfield
And then action at both ends in
Blackpool v Millwall

Just a heads-up here.
I've just bought 4 tickets for me & family.
I am not currently a ST holder, so general sale must have started.

I just bought 2 in general sale now. Why advertise that they go on sale on Friday? It’s frustrating that I have to check every day in case they release them earlier than advertised.

My son and myself bought a ticket each online separately, could anyone tell me if these are for specific seats as I seem to remember it was 'sit anywhere you want' last time we were there.
