ARTICLE: Western Australians inspired by Clarets for Foodbanks
Brilliant, heart warming story, out of Western Australia who have followed us with foodbank collections.
Huge well done to Kingsleyclaret for setting this up and good luck to them going forward.

Great work Gents.
Kingsley, is that at all the glory games now or just occasionally?
Cheers

Great initiative Kingsleyclaret - well done.
Unfortunately hunger and poverty are international. Here in Malta I do my bit in a different way: I am on a team that organises treasure hunts for a leading local newspaper. For the past 5 Hunts we have asked for foodstuffs as treasures to be collected, giving crews cryptic clues on what to collect. At the end of each hunt these "treasures" are handed over to one of the local food banks. This initiative has been welcomed so well by participants that they regularly get over and above what we ask for! And for the Foodbank people they are veritable treasures!
Keep up the good work everyone - I am aware of how Tony and the supporters groups work tirelessly in this area. God bless you all (and KC of course!)

The plan is for Glory to take it on as they move back to their permanent home. The CEO at Perth Glory and the president of the Macedonian Football Club (Flory’s temporary landlord) couldn’t have been more supportive.

A heartwarming story and congratulations to all.the people involved in the scheme. Always have a bag of 'goodies' ready to drop in a bin before each home game but I also pray for the day when my contribution and those of others over the seasons is no longer needed nor necessary. The only business/ organisation I would dearly love to be closed down.

I couldn’t agree any more with you Silkyskills1, looking forward to the day when Foodbanks are no longer needed.Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 03, 2023 3:20 pmA heartwarming story and congratulations to all.the people involved in the scheme. Brilliant what Kingsleyclaret has initiated in Perth and fantastic to hear how much the club are supporting it.
