Hope Liverpool give Chelsea a spanking just cause I don't like Chelsea & would like Villa to beat Leicester just to make the relegation battle more interesting.

Key evening for Bournemouth & Leicester who really need to take advantage of their home fixtures.
Leeds-Forest is huge even with 9/10 games remaining for most sides if you lose to your direct rivals it will really hurt at this stage of the season.
Chelsea-Liverpool amazingly matters little in the grand scheme of things.

Think I'd rather see Chelsea tonk the Scousers, partly because it would likely mean that neither have much of a chance of champions league. Plus I dislike lerpwll more than any other team and would probably enjoy rovers putting 10 past them.
But if I get to pick first tonight I'd draft a win for forest.

Brighton 1-0 up at Bournemouth on their European charge.
Villa 1-0 at Leicester, Watkins for the 6th away game in a row.

Only just caught up with the Liverpool team.
Van Dijk not in the squad
Salah, Robertson, T A-A all on the bench. Unusual for none of VD, TAA and Robertson to start.
Im guessing that Salah will come on.

To be fair Matip had a few challenges in the first half, so rather than just that one challenge might be from a totting up process.

Leicester down to 10 men at home to Villa, Dewsbury-Hall with 2 yellows in 5 minutes. Currently 1-1 with 20 minutes to go.

Villa take a late lead.
He's done a great job Unai Emery. They looked in trouble themselves before he came in.

Hamilton with Ryan Fulton in goal win 2-1 at Raith in a vital 3 points in their bid to avoid relegation. And it has finished with a win for Freiburg away at Bayern Munich.
Juventus taken a late lead at home over Inter 1-0, in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi finals.

Wow it's tight in that relegation scrap in the PL.
Isn't it fun to be top of the league and the only thing to worry about being what day we get to lift the League Championship?

Yes Leicester have been on a downward trajectory since the Thai owner was so tragically killed. Its not looking good for them or indeed Forest. The shining light of East Midlands football seems to be Notts County and it looks like they will have to compete in the play offs to win promotion back to the football league.

Chelsea looked much more energetic tonight.
Must have been Potter holding them back.
Received James and Kante looked the part. Havertz didn't.
2 goals rules out by VAR. The first was for a knee being just past a toe. B ollocks.

Well that's a bit pedantic, however, technically correct.
Lino gave offside. VAR check took an age and it turned out as I describe.

That crucial win for Leeds has shot them to 13th, though they are by no means safe yet given how crazily tight it is at the foot of the Prem.
Bournemouth back in the bottom 3 even if it is on goal difference, as for Brighton they just keep improving, and I see young Ferguson bagged again, he must be a shoe-in for young player of the year.
Similarly Villa under Emery are also on a roll, and that is a managerial switch which has paid huge dividends. Leicester just like at Palace conceded late, and that is a mark of a team heading for the drop.
Chelsea marginally better than their display against Villa, but yet again they failed to take their chances.
Cooper the next gaffer to get the boot if rumours are true.

I wouldn’t say it was pedantic. The AR flagged for offside and the goal didn’t stand. The VAR checked the AR’s decision which was shown to be correct. Not sure why the decision would be described as b0llocks as firstly it was correct, and secondly it wasn’t impacted by VAR.
