Released 500 season tickets at early bird prices to those on waiting list.

Does that mean 500 ST holders haven't renewed? Probably the ones still shouting "STOP ******* ABOUT AND GET IT ******* FORWARD!"

So let me get this right. People who didn’t bother to get one before. Can now get one for the same price as us who did. Bang out of order. Club are well out of touch. Why should these Johnny come latelys get the same as us loyal fans.

Is there any news on the Cricketfield waiting list? Has anyone been contacted about getting a ST in there that was on the list?

I've emailed but just got told they were sorting it differently to seat swap and would be contacted if any become available.
They should know by now though.

how many will be available for matchday sales next season?

Must admit I was surprised there were 500 still available and at the early bird prices. Got 2 this afternoon. It’s on a first come first serve basis apparently

It was 500 left from people that didn't renew. The club had to wait until the end of the early bird period before releasing their seats. For seat swap first and then they would be 500 left for the waiting list that people signed up to in the EB period

I believe that typically clubs lose about 10% of their season ticket holders each season. Obviously we're on the low side of that stat.

Maybe the 500 didn’t renew into their original seats, but bought a new seat during the early bird…either way Turf should be rocking again next season………

My lad had a call from the club yesterday, he was on the list and took 1 of 20 seats which had come available.

There are obviously many reasons why some STs do not get renewed, some of them very sad, but I haven’t seen anything that says the 500 available were all down to non-renewal. Didn’t early bird always work that the early period was for renewals and then there was a short period when any remaining tickets were available at the early bird price ?

Cheers for answering, I was advised there were 75 on the list when I had joined and wanting 3 together was always unlikely.
Looks like I'm staying in the Longside upper.

Not the case at all this year although they did it last year. This year it's people who couldn't get one earlier because there were none available at the time.

Spot on.
The system worked perfectly for us. We wanted 2 extra tickets and were on the waiting list.
As per the website etc. I was stood at the Ticket office at 1pm yesterday when the window opened for the sale of any remaining seats.
Correctly, they checked that I was on the waiting list, and I managed to get a pair together. (There were very few pairs available, so I'm glad that I went down to be one of the first to book. It clearly said that it was "first come first served" if you were on the waiting list)

Maybe because we followed the clear directions issued by the Club and went on the waiting list once the tickets were "sold out".
there were always going to be tickets available once the Early bird period ended, because non-renewals etc cannot be sold until after that period ends - for obvious reasons.
As other posters have mentioned, you will always get a percentage of ST Holders who can't renew for a whole variety of reasons. These are the tickets that became available.

Can you do that on the same clarets number?

Must be able to, i know 3 people who have done it this renewal.
