I'd be the first to admit we've never exactly seen eye to eye with the Boro fans but (apart from one outstanding exception) they were an absolute credit last night.
Gracious in the extreme and never had my hand shook so many times after a game.

Yep … decent bunch. I was fortunate (unfortunate) to be a guest of a boro fan in the corporate lounge last night. Apart from enduring Jeff Winter and Bernie Slaven as the warm up act!
Boro fans were very complimentary before , during and after the game. Hope they join us

Yeah, in general, superb fans. I was also lucky to be a guest of a Boro fan in the corporate lounge. Apart from your usual idiots (every teams got em), I think they're a smashing bunch
Proper club as far as I'm concerned

Mixed bag from my experience. Was told in no uncertain terms by one 60 year old fan after the match that we were a “ a shower of shite” and would be straight down but other fans gave us some grudging praise. It does feel like a grudge match when we play and last night’s events will definitely up the ante in that regard. I’ve met a couple of fans today in Stockton and Yarm who told me how much they hated to see us win promotion like that. Fair enough really it must have been a painful watch for them.

The ones we spoke to before and after the game were very friendly and complementary about us as a team and club.

My son lives up there. I’ve told him it might not be a good idea to put his Burnley flag up in his garden.

One half wit throwing coins but well done to those Boro fans who stayed behind to witness and applaud the Clarets celebrating our promotion to the Premier League ….

Slighty O/T but their accent, perhaps inevitably, is a weird hybrid of Yorkshire/NE.

It's is mostly north Yorkshire with a county Durham twang I used to live near the border at gretna bridge.
