Burnley FC books recommendations

I am off to Las Vegas at the start of May and have a 11 hour flight from Amsterdam to Vegas to contend with. I am wanting to do a bit of reading on the plane and so if any recommendations could be made for books about Burnley please.

I enjoyed end of innocence by Tim Quelch. It refers to Burnley’s 1959/60 title winning season as a pivotal point in not only football (due to abolition of the maximum wage) but also in popular culture as a whole with the advent of the swinging sixties.

Mike Smith's "Tommy Boyle - Broken Hero", has to be the finest ever written.

Jimmy Adamson, the Man who Turned Down England by Dave Thomas. Not just a biography of the man but a history of the club and Bob Lord from the 1940s onwards.

A Director's Tale by Dave Thomas is excellent.
All the Burnley books by Dave Thomas are excellent.

Just finished reading "The best ground in the fourth division" by Andrew Proctor.
I first read it in the mid nineties when I was in my teens and while it's not about a happy period in our history I found it fascinating. Having just reread it, while it is still a melancholic read, our upturn since means it feels like reading it from a different perspective. Engrossing both times I read it.

Seconded. I'm sure theres a bit of artistic licensing in there but it's a very entertaining book.

Can’t beat Up the Clarets by the Rev David Wiseman for a good dose of nostalgia. Tim Quelch is always excellent and his BFC Rock n roll years is well worth tracking down as is his study of the 59/60 season. For the proper football nostalgic how can the Charles Buchan Burnley Fc book ever be beaten? The colour pics of our boys are unsurpassable.
