PL early k.o. is Villa v Newcastle
Everton will be hoping for the points in their home against Fulham.
Leicester away at City, not much joy there for the Foxes, i suspect.
Accy Stanley v Fleetwood come on Stanley.
Later, Lets hope Hull get the points at Deadwood.
Before all that there's a tasty Devon derby Exeter City v
Plymouth Argyle.

Heckinbotham still moaning about the game at TM. Would like to play the game again 11 v 11. What a plonker, not our fault the keeper decked Nathan Tella.

More interested in the early championship game between Sheff U & Cardiff
Dropped points for Utd means with a win we can become champions later today

Good start in the Villa v Newcastle game, good atmosphere, strong tackles, seems an open game, Watkins hit post for Villa after 27 seconds.

Yes, forgot to mention that one for some reason.
Cardiff desperately need the points, so lets hope we're
celebrating later.

3 on 2 breakaway for Cardiff is cynically stopped by Berg pulling the player back
A clear “take one for the team” foul

Like there is a record for winning promotion with 7 games to play , does anyone know what the record is for being crowned champions?

Listening to it on the radio, sounds like he's playing well enough despite that early booking, and thus far he's helped maintain a clean sheet 0-0 at the break between the 2 dreadfully out of form Edinburgh sides.

After the National League showcase on Monday and Wrexham winning and taking a massive step towards the title, it could be blown open again. Wrexham currently 0-0 at Barnet but they have just been sent down to 10 men with 40 minutes still to play.

And even if not VAR (obviously if it was in the EFL) would have disallowed for the ball hitting his hand too.

Bournemouth snatch all 3 points at the death, huge win for them at Spurs.
Palace and Wolves nudging towards safety after beating Saints and Brentford.
Everton falling to a 3-1 home defeat despite Dwight netting.
Millwall win the big PO battle against Nobbers.
Accy staring down the barrel after a 5-2 loss to Fleetwood, and again they went down to 10 men.
Plymouth and Ipswich now favourites to go up from League 1, wins for both and Sheff Wed slumped to a shock defeat at Burton.
Barnsley rack up a 5-1 victory at FGR, who are relegated today, 2 for Phillips who also missed a 2nd half penalty.

Everton in deep trouble. Lack of goals is killing them.
Also PNE doing what PNE do - given themselves a glimmer of hope for playoffs then blow it at the crucial moment.

What's surprising though about Everton is that despite the lack of goals I still expected them to become hard to beat and not concede too many. 1-1 at Half time I thought they'd get at least a draw.

Its a poor result for Everton given the way Bournemouth and Palace are edging towards safety.
