Very FA Cup feel to this team but happy to see starts for Twine, Benson and Foster, hopefully get some good minutes out of Churlinov later.

Not even on the bench, maybe injured.

I'd have preferred giving a game to each of those players over the next 6, not all at once, but we'll see how it pans out.

Very surprising that Obafemi isn't at least on the bench given all those changes.

Reading will be playing for their lives so no easy win today

The squad needs using, but too many changes in one swoop could be costly. It didn't work at Blackpool.
I'll be disappointed if it costs us our unbeaten run, or the chance of the record, but VK has to be backed, he's earned it.

No backup centre half on the bench. Is Ekdal injured ?

We've certainly enough options on the bench if it needs changing around.

Maatsen, THB, Ekdal, Obafemi not in squad, very strange. Grand National trip?

Could always bring Vitinho on and shift Taylor to the middle, if push came to shove.

I wonder if any significance in reduced number of loan players

Afternoon all, nice day up here, starting to get a bit milder, went for a 3-1 win on the predictor which might be a bit optimistic given the lineup, still think we'll win but maybe 2-1 is more realistic.COYC

Not the line-up I or many others would have expected, however I suppose the fringe players have to be given time eventually.

Could be juggling the squad with Rotherham in mind as well.

Good to see Zaroury back even if it is on the bench.

That is a lot of changes. The one that particularly surprises me is Muric missing, but I suppose worth giving BPF more exposure to how we play makes sense. The same is true of Taylor who I don't think looks comfortable doing what VK asks of a full back - but again, in fairness hes had relatively little football in that position to show what he can do.

Maatsen has played an awful lot football recently- at a guess more minutes than anyone bar Cullen in the last month or so - and in a position that asks an awful lot physically.

You have to have played in a certain number of games to qualify for a winners medal. Maybe that's a part of the reason for such changes.

It's a squad game but it's sink or swim for a few plus they will want a winners medal 🥇 but seriously I hope our unbeaten run doesn't end today with so many changes.

VK did allude to changes to ensure other squad players get a chance so why not today? Hopefully incoming players can pick up the baton quickly

I don't think anyone is against changes to give others more game time and try them out, it’s more the number of changes in one go.

Hopefully misplaced concern by a few of us.
