All these “silly” injuries we're picking up are due to the cramming in of games because of the World Cup.
Of course he has to rotate the problem we had is our game changers. Benson, coming back from injury was worked ragged, Tella comes off early with a no contact injury, Zaroury coming back from his clogging by the smoggies, Brownhill re-injured his ankle on astro-turf(not the type of injury you get when fit).
Leave it to VK, he has all the info and Rotherham on Tuesday.

Players need game time
Others need a rest.

Naff to get a draw, but the match time will be good for some of them.

Aye! let's just play the same XI week in week out, how is VK supposed to judge our squad players if they don't feature.

Some might not make the grade, but if they aren't given the chance then we will never know whether they are up to it or not.

No guarantees we'd have won today even with some of our regulars starting, and yes the performance wasn't great, but this tedious moaning when we're on the cusp of winning the title is becoming tiresome.

I learned a bit about a couple of players today so it's nailed on that Kompany got an awful lot more out of it

Bring back Dyche if you want to play the same team week in week out. No plans B. Kompany needs to see these players in match situations

Good exercise today that.

VK will want to have a good look at some squad members between now and the end of the season.

if any of our fans think the priority was a record number of points then they need to give their collective heads a wobble
First priority - judge players
Second priority - win
Third priority - not lose
Fourth priority - win all remaining games for a points record

Technically it's not fair on the rest of the teams battling against relegation and really annoying to watch.

Biggest two games of the season were played last weekend, with little time between the games. Perhaps the fitness coaches etc know a little more than you on who needs resting

7 games between 7th April and the 29th of April, no wonder we're shuffling the pack.

And it's not just the physical side it's the mental side to consider, we put an awful lot into those key wins over our closest rivals and Boro especially was an emotional evening.

Clearly the OP hasn't heard of squad rotation.

That’s just nonsense on several levels

Firstly, it’s up to the teams at the bottom to not be there. Secondly, the team we played was well within the EFL rules. there’s no “technically” about it. There have to be 10 outfield players common to the previous team sheet since the fourth Thursday in March. Today’s team sheet had twelve players common to both

I can’t believe you actually think some of your comments. We have started preparing for next season. Twine and Chulinov are two players I am not sure will be good enough. VK may have the same doubts. Taylor and BPF may be able to adapt to the VK way with some game time. They are good players who just don’t naturally fit. If any of those 4 have a good run we will certainly benefit next season.

It wasn't that weak a side really.
Losing Tella early was a major loss.

I want to see the whole squad play through out the season, today was nice to see some of those players getting more competitive match time.

We have to play each team twice whether they are a weak or good team.

We couldn't just not play Reading because they are weak team and because you find it annoying.

We all would have preferred playing Juventus or Real Madrid but we were bound by the rules unfortunately.

The only disappointment is that there was still a chance to get the points record.

Will much have been learnt playing against a team threatened with relegation when the opposition next season will be on a completely different level.

108 points was gettable.

Listen to VK’s post match interview. He needs to see the fringe players in competitive games. Trust the guy, look what he has achieved this season.

Just watching City ,and when they take 3 of their main players off they’re not as sharp.

I wouldn't bother with next season if I were you.

I think now the challenge of getting over 106 points is no more, we can now focus on seeing others in the squad and working out the plan for who stays next season.

I’m not a betting man but I suspect a draw ruined someone’s slip today and they’re a little annoyed

FFS it was bad enough when fans used to rock up at 5pm when we got beat.
Now if we don’t win a game even in a season like this you get fans who are not happy.

How many opportunities does a manager get to have a look at fringe or new players in a competitive game without the pressure of having to get a result ? VK has earned that opportunity by blowing away the rest of the league with what many people are saying is one of the best sides ever to play at this level.

As it happens in Foster, Twine and the centre back all starting these are our 3 biggest signings under VK and it’s hardly fielding a weak team. Foster probably cost more than the whole of the Reading team put together.

If you can’t just relax and enjoy the fantastic position we find ourselves in then not sure how some will cope with the likelihood that it’s probably never going to be better than this season.
