Re: Ben Mee MNF
Real problem tonight ,don’t know who I want to lose most ,it would be nice if Dirty Leeds got relegated ,said the same to a Leeds fan today ,couldn’t believe I wanted them relegated ,didn’t they withdraw their complaint against Everton last season as soon as they were safe?

Sadly the same for me too. The chance to help relegate the biggest club in the world is just too good to miss.

I hope they both end up with 4 players sent off and both managers getting a 6 month ban.

Question to all, is Ben Mee a Burnley 'legend' like we've been labelling Ash lately?

"Legend", a word thrown around far too often these days.

Big difference between legend and Burnley legend though, which he certainly is.boatshed bill wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2023 8:03 pm"Legend", a word thrown around far too often these days.
Anyone spending a decade at the same club (as a regular starter) in this day and age deserves the legend tag for me.

Neither for me but I reserve the word legend for very few players.

Nope. He’s also a thoroughly decent chap as well as a good earner.Vincent'sCap wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2023 6:09 pmWas reading today BM is the top earner at Brentford hasn't done to bad for himself has he?

2 shots, 2 goals for Liverpool. Defensively Leeds are as poor as last season.

Looking like handball on seeing the replay.
Re: Ben Mee MNF
Mee on the hand ball should’ve have been answering carragher with “you would say that wouldn’t you” “if that was against you I think we all know how you’d answer”. Roy Keane wouldn’t have held back. Var is just a joke.

Had that 'Handball' incident happened to us, playing Liverpool, Arsenal, et al, I'm pretty sure the goal wouldn't have stood.

Leeds have got to go this season, they are garbage.
Re: Ben Mee MNF
He was free, so saved them millions. That is reflected, to a degree, in his subsequent salary. Also, Tarkowski.Vincent'sCap wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2023 6:09 pmWas reading today BM is the top earner at Brentford hasn't done to bad for himself has he?

Can Liverpool beat Palace and get to 6?
On the handball, apparently VAR would have given it but the handball didn't have a direct impact in Liverpool scoring.

Re: Ben Mee MNF
And Everton, Leeds are dreadful though, 9 goals conceded in 2 home games, and Liverpool might not be finished tonight yet.
Leeds do have a tough run-in though, so they might well be in trouble.

Such an ill-disciplined team. Everything is at 100mph, it’s chaotic.
