I’m glad I don’t have to listen to him every week. He was bloody awful.

biased beyond credibility, a thick yorkshire pudding who sounded like a thick lump from start to finish.
he hadn't a clue. best suited to dregs of the league. a non footballing idiot.

At one point he said upon learning that Sheffield United had won “good it means Burnley can’t go up tonight”

Also JBG had a shot saved early in the second half and I’m unsure if it was the commentator or the co commentator but one of them sat the VAR would have ruled it out

He clearly wasn’t a fan of us. Luckily for him he won’t have to see them play us for a very, very long time.

"if theres one thing i dont like about this burnley team is that they make a meal out of every contact.
if there's one thing about this burnley team , they are no good at headers.
if theres one thing about this burnley team, they look weak at the back.
then there was the constant "If that had have been of of our payers doing that, instant yellow card.

if there's one thing i dont like about this burnley team.....OH PLEASE JUST **** **. YOU TIRESOME *******.

I was also tempted to not listen to any more at that stage but he was saying 'good, it means Burnley can' t go up tonight' in the context of us playing one of their relegation rivals in QPR at the weekend. Makes perfect sense he'd want us to still have a job to do for that fixture.

I had to watch the Rotherham stream as the Burnley feed kept cutting out, and I have to say I really enjoyed the two Rotherham chaps.

They were a bit of a throwback to past years when absolutely zero attempt was made to hide partiality. Also reminded me of that famous rugby league video - “I CANT SPEYK”

The handball incident amused me as well. He started off from a position of absolutely no chance but after he’d seen the replays he knew full well it was but decided to maintain it was, eventually just conceding that we’d already had a dodgy throw in back at the turf in the 90+n minute so fairs fair.

They were a good bit of fun, be fantastic to share a pint with them I’d imagine.

Kept buffering here in Spain so switched to the Rotherham 'commentary'. Poor stuff.

Me too! Thought the guy was quite witty and was a typical ‘tell it like it is’ Yorkshireman. Reminded me of a character from Early Doors.

I think I preferred these two to Phil Bird and especially that Andy fella who is usually on co Comms

They were actually very complimentary about us for a large part of the game and the so called bias came in the last 10 minutes when they were chasing the game, then trying to hang on.
They were obviously football chaps first and foremost, which was quite refreshing at times, and as for their point about being no good at headers and being a bit soft, do they not have a valid point, and is something we on here have been very critical about through the season?

It was like a poor man’s version of the four Yorkshiremen from Monty Python tbh. Absolutely clueless.

Following on from the shock news that the Rotherham commentators were biased I can exclusively reveal that the Pope is a catholic. Stay tuned for shock revelations about bears’ disgusting habits in the woods!
