Zagreb Croatia.

Post by mybloodisclaret » Fri Apr 21, 2023 3:45 pm

Hi all, I know there are some well travelled Clarets and some European Clarets on here. Off to Zagreb this weekend on a stag do. Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations? Things to do, places to go, bars etc....

Any recommendations welcome.

Thanks

Not a boozer and too old for night clubs but a fabulous city. Enjoy.

Neither is @mybloodisclaret, so it sounds like he'll have a great time...

Don't get so drunk that you leave your hat in a taxi.

I wasn't at the time but am now. I blame it on the loss of my leather hat from Istanbul! (1974)

I love Zagreb. It's not got "monuments" as such. But the architecture is influenced by the Austro-Hungarian empire. Highly walkable. The people are very pleasant. A lot of them speak English. Excellent tram network.
