I love him.

Inter, Dortmund and Marseille linked today.

Listened to a podcast from him recently and he said he’s always dreamed of playing in the Prem and watched MOTD as a youngster. He stays.

He is though.

Loved him all season, he’s absolute dynamite. The type of player you dream of playing for your club. Makes things happen, scores worldies out of nowhere. Wow. What a ******* player.

Also we are in our Philippines hotel and it was about 4.30am so maybe I startled and woke up one or two other guests.

3yrs left on his current deal whatever it is, so we can command top dollar for him if any club is serious about wanting him.

He’s a proper, proper footballer.

He’s like a Championship (now Premier League) cross between Coutinho and Messi.

He makes the step up no problem in my opinion.

I think he doesn’t start because he seems a bit more subdued when he does. Difficult to say he’s not a ninety minute man but he seems much better coming on in the second half with his speed when the opposition are tiring.

In football, in all the time I’ve ever watched there have been many “one-trick ponies” but some of them have a trick that is so good it’s completely unplayable.

He looked talented, but lightweight early season. The steady improvement since then has been incredible. Has surpassed Annas as our main threat. He is always going to be small, and he plays at top speed often, so I wouldn't want, or expect him to be 90 mins a game. He needs to be well managed, I'm sure VK will use him wisely.

My mate made the excellent suggestion that Sky , or someone, should put together a cricket style graphic showing the trajectory and speed of each of the versions of “that goal” he has scored this season. Would be great to see.
In any event to score it three times in consecutive games in just 8 days is almost unbelievable !! Last night’s version has to be goal of the season given the context I think.
