Sky Sports coverage
Sky Sports coverage
Does anyone know if the game is being repeated anywhere today? In the rush to drive over to Deadwood last night I forgot to set it to record.
Re: Sky Sports coverage
There’s a 15 minute highlights match at 12 on sky sports.

Re: Sky Sports coverage
After watching it back this morning I noticed the pettiness of the ticket allocation. It was designed to not show our fans on camera from the Riverside stand, it looks like we had no fans at all during some parts of the match.
Petty tin pot club - we won the title behind enemy lines

On the subject of Sky, I’ve really enjoyed their coverage of the Championship this season. Probably helps that we get more of a look in being a bigger fish in a smaller pond, but I think their match coverage has been exceptional.

Re: Sky Sports coverage
When I saw that thin stretch of fans running along the top of the bottom tier I thought, "how strange, maybe it's all the fans they've rounded up in other parts of the ground". Then, when the match kicked off and I saw the TV angle and the coverage it gave, it all made sense. Absolutely pathetic from Blackburn Rovers Football Club. Deserved karma in the end. First time I’ve heard Michael Brown summarising and he was better than a lot of them.

Re: Sky Sports coverage
The placing of the fans was just another pathetic attempt from them to try to give them some sort of advantage. The stadium announcer sounded like he had to be forced to read out our team, the cringeworthy “ let’s get right behind the lads” shout before the game and at half time, was again pathetic. And the childish, almost non handshake, from their manager to VK at full time just summed up their whole club. ARSEH***S. They tried everything they could, AND FAILED YET AGAIN. UTC.

To be honest, our announcer does the same with the “LETS HEAR IT FOR BURNLEY”Claretitus wrote: ↑Wed Apr 26, 2023 10:52 pmthe cringeworthy “ let’s get right behind the lads” shout before the game and at half time, was again pathetic.
We don’t need to be told to cheer for the team. We’re not just going to sit their quietly as the come out are we

Agreed, my only issue with him was his point of view on the Benson penalty claim.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Wed Apr 26, 2023 12:19 pmFirst time I’ve heard Michael Brown summarising and he was better than a lot of them.
Because he was pulled back by his arm and not his shirt it isn't a penalty according to Brown.

Re: Sky Sports coverage
Once again we have the nonsense of panning on the crowd during action on the field. How many times did we need to see Donkey Dunny in the crowd?

To be honest, I'd want a camera on him from straight after Bensons goal to the end of the game!Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2023 6:22 amOnce again we have the nonsense of panning on the crowd during action on the field. How many times did we need to see Donkey Dunny in the crowd?

A word for David Prutton; I think he’s an excellent host.
He’s very knowledgable, charismatic and eloquent without being smarmy. And being an ex-player he knows the game too.

He is Brian O'Neil's son-in-law, so may have Burnley sympathies
