On the picture who are the pair in trackies top right. Is one Churlinov?

One is Hjalmar Ekdal and I think the other could be Charlie Casper

If you’re meaning on the penultimate picture, I’m guessing that the one behind Al Dakhill’s left shoulder is one of the back room staff and the other in the bobble hat is Ekdal.

I hope that Churlinov, Bastien and Dervisoglu were there to enjoy the moment. They seem to be be the only faces missing from the first team squad. Maybe they couldn’t get a ticket.

Great report CT. My vantage point was also in front of the television. Kicked and headed every ball, made every tackle and remained stout and stoic when the bully boys tried their luck. Not a pretty game but a pretty dramatic one and a goal of sublime skill and technique to win it. We've maintained that feel.good factor throughout the season right from day one and it shone through brightly during last night's escapade. Proud to be a Claret. Oh yes.

Excellent reading. Relishing every word and photo today. For Clarets around the world it is an occasion to always remember and savor, a "where were you when" memory. In one of those bizarre twists of circumstance and necessity that life can throw at you, I was holding a baby when the sweet music of the final whistle sounded

Excellent report as ever Tony. But I thought Tomasson shook hands with VK properly and actually patted him on the back, he also congratulated Burnley in his interview.
But that's all the credit they'll get here.
What a night, what a season, what a team.

Some nights are so good you'll never forget them as long as you live. Others are so good you'll never remember them as long as you live.

Thanks Tony, that summed up my night too.
Another stat which I do like is the fact that they have not scored in 516 minutes of football since Jordan Rhodes scored against us in the 24th minute in March 2014 at Ewood. Jason Shackell and Danny Ings did the honours for us in the second half to give us the win.

All of
Jason Shackell
Danny Ings
Scott Arfield
Andre Gray
Jack Cork
Robbie Brady
Ashley Barnes
Anass Zaroury
Manuel Benson
have scored against them since they last scored against us.

Fair account.
I still suspect that Al-Dak is playing as a genuine first choice over THB now though.

Thanks CT. Excellent writing as usual.
I agree with us starting the better. I thought two incidents swung the first half their way. Rankin-Costellos’ crunching tackle as Maatsen carried the ball forward and JBG ducking a challenge in their penalty area. Both gave them a lift.
Thankfully it was sorted at HT and I never worried after the first two subs came on. What a difference they made.
