They’ve been for sale for a while haven’t they?

Hasn’t The Prince of wherever it is (whatever the current owner is called) been trying to sell to some Nigerian businessman? Sounds like something that will end well.

Dozy Mmobuosi has apparently lost interest now.

Maybe someone else has agreed to release his funds that were tied up in a locked crypto hard drive :D

Reports in the papers today that their players will have to wait for their promotion bonuses until the first tranche of
PL money comes through in the middle of July.

Just shows how close to the wire some clubs are operating and if you get promoted to the Prem all well and good.

But in the case of West Brom - if you don't...

that's not correct. the maximum sentence is 2 years six months and that is with the highest level of culpability and harm

Wrong, the maximum is four years, unless you use it then it goes up

Unless they use someone like Macquarie to advance it - as I suspect we and whoever comes up from the play-offs will to - it is more or less a universal practice in recent seasons

I was a solicitor until I retired ( six years ago today, in fact ) and I can confirm that A_C is correct.

Perhaps ppp's sentencing guidelines book is out of date?

If anyone is actually interested in the Sentencing Guidelines for possession of a blades article, here you go:

https://www.sentencingcouncil.org.uk/wp ... _WEB-1.pdf

And some commentary

https://www.lawtonslaw.co.uk/resources/ ... d-article/

s42 Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 increased the sentence for a s139 Criminal Justice Act 1988 offence to 4 years, but Im sure the solicitors on here can confirm it.

Regarding Dozy, I neglected to mention Dave, Beaky, Mick and Titch had already distanced themselves.

if we are talking about corrosive substances then you can get up to 4 years. but not with a bladed article unless you are a repeat offender.
