Chris Gibson leaving
I couldn't see a thread, Chris Gibson tweeted he is leaving the club after the Cardiff match.

Re: Chris Gibson leaving
This is part of the club outsourcing the catering so he'd have been leaving in any case.

Not the case, he had the option to stay and work for Levy UK, the new company but he chose not to.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Apr 28, 2023 10:42 pmThis is part of the club outsourcing the catering so he'd have been leaving in any case.

Re: Chris Gibson leaving
What was Denise McLarens role at the club CT ?
Am I right in thinking years ago she used to be the boss of the young lads & lasses that work behind the kiosks ?

Re: Chris Gibson leaving
Will he keep playing the bugle at Remembrance Day? That’s the main question
Re: Chris Gibson leaving
Good luck Chris. It’s been a pleasure dealing with you. Felt sorry for you after we were all thrown out of our seats in the JHL, block 5 after the club decided it wanted a larger corporate section. You were thrown in the deep end trying to sort everyone and take all the -hit. Hope all goes well for you in the future. Keep up with the Trumpet practice, you’ll get there eventually.

Re: Chris Gibson
Chris was the Head of Catering at Burnley, with the new contractors being appointed I presume his role would have changed considerably. He's moved to be Head of Hospitality at Bolton.
I've not talked to him directly about the change but I'm sure I'll see him at a Burnley game when his new job permits.

A lovely chap, who was very good at his job and never got flustered by any situation - I wish him all the best
Most Burnley fans will know him for playing the last post at the home remembrance games - seems another club will now be getting that contribution

Re: Chris Gibson
There were three of them at one point but down to one now. Matt Hargreaves has played the Last Post with him for several years and for a time they were joined by Stuart Ash who was finance man at the Community.Chester Perry wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2023 11:37 am
