How can they come out in “one rovers against discrimination” T-shirts after only giving us 2k tickets. Surely that is discrimination?

It was many things but certainly not discriminatory and should have no bearing on wearing such t-shirts

Only in the same way that absolutely EVERYTHING is discriminatory these days.
They hate us so it’s a hate crime.

To quote Alan Pace......."We are being treated differently to every other club who has visited Ewood Park this season and it doesn't sit well with us"
Isn't that discrimination?

Now you put it that way I can better see the viewpoint. But I tend to think of it as prejudice against individuals with protected characteristics, which I guess is what the t-shirts relate to.

Well I can think of a time when being a Burnley fan was definitely worthy of a protected characteristic….

But to put a positive spin on it, it did mean that less money went into their coffers by both ticket sales and half time refreshments.

Many football fans could not get a ticket based upon the colour of their shirt - that is discriminatory.

Shame Luton have nothing riding on this. They can’t finish anywhere except 3rd.

HT 0-0 mostly the Undead having the majority of the possession but fizzling out in the last third.
Let's hope it stays like that.

They have given every team that whole end if they have wanted it, but chose to give us only 2,000 because they dislike us.
That is the very definition of discrimination. Treating another differently to everyone else. Discrimination doesn’t just have to be race, gender, or disability.

It would be commendable if you and others pursued a discrimination claim through the civil court under the Equality Act. I wouldn't fancy your chances of success though.

No but that's because the kinds of discrimination covered by the Equality Act isn't the same as the dictionary definition of the word.
Burnley fans were unfairly (but legally) discriminated against.

Yes I subsequently acknowledged the broader point of view.

I’d just said to Mrs T. they are a team of two halves. They were decent first half so they’ll be poor this. 0-1.
I hope I haven’t jinxed it by posting.

Anyone feel a bit sorry for them?
I actually wanted them to fail in the last game. This is a bit premature but at least it’s in front of their few hangers on.

They are wide open to the counter attack but Luton are sitting to deep.

They were unlucky that they didn’t have anyone good enough to seriously test our defence tbh.
