I think the messageboard user who coined the phrase "exciting times" got it spot on.

Tell you what though, given how close he was at the numbers, I’ll be watching this documentary looking out for suspicious cleaners holding a cup to the wall. That or he’s bugged the boardroom

Without doubt.

Look how quickly the Kieran Maguire fully explained and properly annotated tweets were out this morning.

Some people had access to those documents in advance of them being visible on Companies House.

Just a guess but I reckon when that scene is seen in full, and the context is there, the impression will be different.

Hopefully it’s more a “Sunderland style” one than some of the highly polished but just about ok ones that Netflix have done on Arsenal /Citeh / Spurs . Looking forward to this and will neatly coincide with our prem season re-birth .

The two things can co-exist. They're an investment company, they're compelled to make money and they only achieve that through success. The benefit of that as opposed to a nation investment such as City and Newcastle, which is purely prestige...... sanity check - Burnley FC is not a prestige club. Secondly, he shifted his family here - from Utah to Burnley!! That's only a trip I would make in reverse!

He CAN make money for me, and he DOES give a toss

More hopefully great coverage and all filmed during a fantastic season. Just a shame we have to wait until September.

I hope that it shows us in a positive light - the only issue then, for any newbies it might attract, is that they’ll come in thinking every season is so bloody brilliant!

Sky have partnerships with HBO in America so you’d imagine they will be able to view it in America
Sky are also owned by Comcast, so here's hoping it will get the coverage it deserves in the USA.

I posted about the possibility of this last year. The camera presence around the ground, training ground, and around specific people like Alan Pace definitely made it seem like somthing was going on.

I'm chuffed to bits that it's actually happened, will be a fantastic watch you'd have thought.

I think “We’ll make so much money" comment is actually said in a tone that is taking the mickey - as in, everyone has a misconception of how easy it is to make money out of a football club and it's really not the case.

Again. Maybe wait to see the whole scene before getting on that high horse. The context may be different to what you imagine.

Do you really think they’re going to include a scene in the documentary where they all sit round rubbing their hands thinking up ways to rinse unsuspecting northerners?

Surely it takes too much effort to be this miserable, we are getting a behind the scenes look at the club we all love in one of the best seasons in our history and people still find a way to be negative!

Surely it takes too much effort to be this miserable, we are getting a behind the scenes look at the club we all love in one of the best seasons in our history and people still find a way to be negative!
It’s madness.
I can’t believe people are shocked a businessman invests in a club to make money?
I suspect next years accounts will be very difficult for some as these dirty men take ‘the fans’ money of the club in a wage whilst keeping us at the top table and building their business model
