As I sit back enjoying a Deaston 12 yo dram looking forward to the clarets being presented with a trophy and listening to tunes, some songs are just too short.
Crosby Stills and Nash - Just a song before I go.
Needs to be played on loop.
Trivial stuff but any other ideas about such short lived wonders?

It's not a great song by any means, but there's a cringe-rock song called She ******* Hates Me. I can't remember who it was by, but I remember when it used to be on the radio a lot in the early 2000s, and it annoyed me that it just finished.
It should end with an extended drum crash outro with a spontaneous guitar rif with feedback sounds and a big ending.

You could probably argue that all the songs that make the Abbey Road medley are too short individually.

What do you expect? Both written after a trip to Blackburn. A cover of "chicken tonight" didn't make it onto the album, but was also very short.

Sugar Hiccup (Cocteaus).
I don’t know where they could have gone with it because it’s gorgeous but a bit repetitive. So all the versions streaming fade it out after about 4 minutes. I hate that! Just let it go on for hours, sort of trance like.
(In hindsight I think the original vinyl EP 81/82? I had might have had a definite end. Can anyone confirm?)
