The Catering

Not even League 2 standard in the JH. Card machines jammed yet again and the servers wandering around aimlessly scratching their heads. Lost revenue again and no doubt wasted food. Needs flagging up by the fans representatives.

You just have to pray that Levy will bring the technology and staff to sort it out. It’s so long overdue.

We’ve just won the Championship at Ewood and you find this to complain about

We had already won the Championship. It’s relevant today and it’s a message board to discuss things.

While we are at it, if we needed any more evidence that the PA system needs upgrading, today gave it and then some.

A lot of free food handed out when the card machines broke.

Not sure this is the right forum to complain about catering? Do you think CT cooks the pies?

I've just had a brain wave. When the tech breaks down use the old fashioned stuff called cash !

The catering forum appears to be down.

I got to the front of the queue only to be asked if I had the correct cash on me otherwise I couldn’t get anything. It really isn’t good enough.

We were told that they couldn't take cash, as if they did they would be sacked.

Don't know what's worse. The tills breaking down again or the Norman Collier microphone system.

It’s a card only deal so pointless offering cash if you did

The PA was actually better than it’s been, but they insist on using radio signal (cordless) mics without having any idea how they function. If there isn’t continuous line-of-sight to the receiver, you’re in trouble.
That’s why the announcement of the players’ names at the end was a disaster.
Loads of top bands don’t use them any more.

The club know there is a problem with the catering and are doing something about it, why complain now. Enjoy the day

The sound for the music and announcements was much better today with the temporary additional speakers around the pitch. Not a long term solution but shows that something needs doing permanently.

Let’s be honest, the catering was only one “negative” on what should have been brilliant day.
The team entering the field pregame seemed to be miss timed as the Cardiff players walked out as the announcer shouted “please welcome your champions, BURNLEY” which was obviously the cue for the flares to go off
The microphone cutting out during the interviews
Getting the MOM announcement wrong with “number 9 Ashley Barnes”
Other than that, a great day

But card payment wasn't working, so the obvious alternative was cash! Sorry if that is too difficult for you to comprehend!

Not sure that each outlet would have a float to give change from.
In fact, no, I can guarantee that none of the outlets would have any change available.
That’s the problem with texhnology,‘it’s great when it works, terrible when it doesn’t.

But not an issue if you have the correct change. And then they would have had a float!

Having run bars and things for many years it’s just not that simple unfortunately.

Great day but ****** off at the club today, 2nd time this season they have double sold my seats (season tickets), missed the first 10 minutes with my daughter despite being 20 minutes early and she was gutted, a really helpful steward found us somewhere to sit.
Plus my season tickets, yet again wouldn’t let us in, now makes sense as the tickets had already been used by someone else.
3rd time this season that’s happened as well
