That was a consensus of opinions as we walked up past the cricket club after the QPR game ... a sense of calm and expectancy that the title would be won at Ewood

Great read. Games 1-12-19 points 13-46 82 points and if those 34 were reflected over 46 games as near as damn it 111 points.

Yup, me too. If we had drawn the QPR game, we’d have still won the title at Ewood, and finished the season unbeaten at home. Still, can’t have any complaints. Fantastic season! Good report Tony, enjoyed that.

I think what really grates with them is that they thought fortunes were changing again after a decade of Claret superiority, especially in those early weeks of the season. The dawning realisation that they are still miles behind us must have really hurt
