We’ve struck gold here. Couldn’t wish for a better ambassador to grow the brand overseas. Speaks so well and seems to be throwing everything into it.

Any chance of a correction to the thread title? We don’t want this to turn into another Chris Woods situation…

Yes, should be JJ, what’s on Talksport.

Its okay, you do a google search on JJ Watts and you just get JJ Watt stuff anyway

Feel sorry for JJ Watts of Ohio who sells sausages from a van just outside Cincinnati - his social media account must be a nightmare

I don't feel sorry for him. He has all his SEO work already done for him. Think of the visits and hits.

He's gonna need a bigger van :D

Good to see he’s finally been embraced on this board by the OP adding the obligatory UTC ‘S’ to his name.

He should be proud of his work to date, he’s now officially one of us.

JJ is doing a wonderful job as a cheerleader and comes over fantastically well. I’d be worried like Spiral if he was the new owner but the fact he has happily admitted he would always defer to Pace on financial matters and Vinny on football ones is reassuring. We always have to punch above our weight otherwise we would become a Barnsley pretty quickly but a steady hand on the finances is certainly necessary.

He's doing a fantastic job of promoting the club.
Doesn't shy away from anything that people will inevitably throw at him, eg. was a Chelsea fan, and genuinely seems to want to learn about the club, it's history, and the impact on the town.

Plus, he doesn't really seem to be doing anything except being an enthusiastic fan, encouraging non-football fans (Americans) to pick Burnley. Which is great timing with the whole Wrexham stuff doing the rounds in the US and we are again a Premier League team.

It's such a surreal time. Last season I was gutted, but felt 'you know, at least we had our time in the big league during my time watching.' And will always be grateful to Dyche... however, it's like he has been forgotten because Pace and Kompany have raised every level of the club.
It feels like it just keeps getting better and better as a fan.

Just needs to be careful not to step on VK's shoes when the press ask him questions that should be answered by the manager. Might need to toe the party line when it comes to questions about our loan players for example.

He seems more than savvy enough to steer away from those questions.

I know nothing about NFL and I’d never even heard of him before, but he comes across so well and has provided some fantastic publicity for us.

Yes, he's been a breath of fresh air and I'm sure his exuberant personality will help to get a few more people/fans on board the Burnley train.
