I thought they were calling for his head after the Wolves game the other night.

Chelsea have the same problem we do, where are the leaders on the pitch. Loads of talent, but no John Terry to galvanise them.
Buelhy has made a right shambles, isn't it satisfying.

A lot like us this season. Poor recruitment, and just look like a load of individuals thrown together with no spirit/backbone.

I can't see a £10 mill sacking bill (if true) pushing them over the edge. Any payout will most likely be spread over the length of the contract.

Well, kind of... If a club sacks a manager and pays compensation to end their contract, then, yes, it can be charged in the accounts up to the day the contract ended. So, as an example, club sacks a manager on 1st March 2024, then any payout agreed is charged in the accounts on 1st March 2024.

The way to "spread" the cost of a sacked manager is to continue to pay them every month according to the contract. Payment then ends when the manager gets a new job, particularly if the new job pays more than the previous one.
