It was fair to say we got very few under Dyche,possibly part fue to reputation part due to not really getting fast nippy players in the box inviting tackles.
The opposite next season re style of play and reputation so will we get more penalties on average. I think we should do,if not there is definitely bias against smaller clubs.

Me too. However, with more intent to get players in the oppositions box, there ought to be the possibility. We may even get one of those Arsenal ones. You know, where the foul takes place outside of the box, or where the player stands on the ball and goes down like a sack of spuds.

Teams with more attacking intent get fouled more and get more penalties.

I would have immediately said our style of play should mean we'll get more pens, but you make a really good point and as you say it's surprising.

We didn't get pens in the Championship (a couple), so why expect any in the Prem?

Let’s face it, we don’t even get them in the Championship. Only one this season for a foul, goalkeeper on Tella at West Brom. The other two were both for handball.

We got one at Anfield not so long back so I don't see why we can't get one next year at any of those grounds. I know its a long time ago but didnt we get 6 penalties in one match at Stamford Bridge when Coyle was in charge?

Not been needed though to be fair, but probably because as jack cork referenced on the balcony, teams just haven't been able to get near us, this will likely change next season because they'll likely get a little bit closer, which is likely to result in committing the foul.

It's one I'm dreading to be honest because of var I just can't get my head around it , I thought at the beginning it would be great but the more I saw it the more it stunk . And I worry for us but I hope I'm wrong
