Inside Number 9

Post by evensteadiereddie » Fri May 19, 2023 5:39 pm

Me and the missus finished watching the brilliant "Steel town Murders" last night, did a bit of channel hopping and found a fabulous quiz, five minutes in, hosted by Lee Mack.
As the quiz progressed, the two contestants, a mother and daughter, became more and more bizarre.
It was only at the end when we realised that it was part of the "Inside Number 9" series written by the "League of Gentlemen" team......
Tremendous stuff.

Brilliant series when this new series finishes I'm going to watch them all again on iPlayer. When it first started I was wondering if it would actually hold up without the input of Mark Gattiss.I also thought for a while last night's episode was just a quiz as it announced before hand it was a change to the schedule show which I believe was going to be a send up of on the buses with Robin Askweth

I have this on series link, watched the first couple of mins and deleted it as i thought it had recorded wrong. I did clock the name of the quiz was 3x3 and wondered but it looked genuine!

Brilliant - thought there were obvious family issues and only realised it was part of the series at the end 🤗🤗🤗

Yes it fooled me, switched it off but watched after reading this thread. Thanks for the alert, the writers are dark and brilliant.

I didn't even know these existed until a couple of or so back. Me and Mrs CM have been binge watching them on iplayer and they are very good.
