Hard to see past a Newcastle win tonight, desperate though the Foxes are for the points.

3-0 Toon

Yes that's a strange one. Maybe just a case of Dean Smith throwing the balls up in the air and hoping they land favourably.

Desperate measures.

Desperately hoping that Leicester can pull a win out of somewhere tonight and help to send down Leeds and Everton.

Their team sheet doesn't inspire much confidence tonight though. Strange selections from the outside looking in.

Poor manager Dean Smith - he massively underperformed with Villa considering the talent available to him, failed at Norwich and is once again failing.

if that's the other way around that's a red because the Newcastle player would have rolled around

He missed the ball and stood on his thigh. No big deal.

What an odd excuse.

He’s high, late and reckless - everything points towards a red.

I have very little interest in Newcastle Utd, but I hope they win and send Leicester back (well...half way back) to where they belong.

Leicester playing very similar to how we did under Dyche, defending deep and just hitting long balls out.

It’s probably one of the most stonewall red cards you can see in football

I don’t know what view Marriner had but surely the VAR ref should have been sending him to the monitor

I know it's not the most insightful comment but Vardy's legs have gone. He doesn't seem to have realised though and is hitting balls to chase himself and being easily dispossessed.

Certainly not the player he was. He’s been an outstanding player for them but nothing like as effective now as he was.

Poor 30 minutes from Leicester.
No confidence. No quality.
Be a shock if they get anything out of this tonight.
They should be playing against 10 men though.

Leicester player went flying in for a challenge earlier on, missed the player so got nothing at all. Much more intent than the Bruno challenge. He seemed perplexed that he had somehow not made contact with the ball - and he really should have done.

These can be fascinating games, one team pressing constantly, the other hanging on for dear life. Leicester defending quite well up to now, except the mistake by the keeper just now.

If they got a point it means Everton would have to beat Bournemouth to guarantee safety as Leicester's GD is far superior.

Leicester have been lucky not to concede and have absolutely no threat up front

Its nailed on for a 1-0 away win that would put some of our steals into the shade

I really don't think Leicester will give a flying one what people think of them as long as they squeeze a point out of this. If they do, theyve half a chance of survival.

Though i reckon if Newcastle get one in the second half, they'll get two or three.
