When looking at this picture of the pitch being dug up.

I couldn't help but notice Alan had all the seats in NL3, the section he struggled with, out.

Long live the corporate boys.

Of you zoom in on the image looks as though they may be changing the lettering on the seats. See what should be the C and A.

Great pic! -

Bloody love our Turf, how it sits in so well with the surrounding area.

Genuinely wouldn’t want any other stadium to call home

Surely that's just the blue seats from the section that has been cleared, piled in top of seats in the adjacent sections, slightly obscuring the claret seats in those sections?

Installation of a cocaine cellar by the look of it.

Probably forced to relay the pitch after the fans went on last game of the season 🙃

The C has been made into a U which is the start of the bottom tiers of both stands spelling out United States

They're changing the whole lettering to Barnsley for the benefit of Sky.

Couldn't they just use the old dry powder store?

Good thinking, but unfortunately, Charlie Austin and Chris Wood are squatting in there

Hang on. We're saying that the solution to people standing up is to take their seats away?

I'm not sure Alan's thought that one through.

Werent all the seats in that lower tier only replaced recently, maybe a couple of years ago ?

Reckon the moderators had a few atrial flutters when they saw you saying C and U were going to be the letters at the start of the stands.....although after4 blocks, they could have had an arrow pointing to you   #DooWahDiddy

I'm sure they could use the LED boards to send a big arrow around to the Bob Lord where I'd be happy to wave....

Think the pitch was due to be relayed for the coming season anyway, read somewhere it was at the end of it's useful life.

I'm glad you remembered the pub's new name. You just kept repeating that "this pub was the Princess Royal last time I was at a game here, when did it change?"

This continuous barrage is not becoming of you….. I didn’t see you at the Shamrock Rovers pre season friendly a few years ago….. only PROPER fans TRAVELLED to that one.

Re: “ unofficial standing area” last block of JHL . Does anyone know what became of the moaning corporates ( partly reasonable ) about restricting their view ? while in these boxes/seats ? Are there any further corporate additions now we’re back in the prem ? Cheers for any info .

They closed the top 2 rows of seats off so people couldn’t block their view.

They refurbishing the Jimmy Mac corporate area so it looks similar to the Longside corporate area which was done up recently.

It does its job of providing seats to watch PL football. I don't much care if it looks fashionable to people flying above it.

If you zoom in to the right, at the back of the Jimmy Mac stand you can see what appears to be 2 skips and a 'chute' above them.
Possibly clearing out ready for refurbishment?

They were the original hard core standers in there- some you wouldn't really want to mess with.
