That’s a great piece of work, and we are further up the chart than I thought we would be.
I don’t suppose you are working on one detailing the amount of seasons spent in the top flight?

I still need to do some checking on this one but I think it's accurate. Like the one further up the thread it does include next season.

Luton in a higher division than Leicester and Leeds - this is why our pyramid must always be preserved, it's fabulous.

After looking at these stats I can kind of understand where Everton fans sense of entitlement comes from now. Most top flight seasons, most top flight goals..

my only issue with this is that it essentially reinforces the belief that football only started when the PL began

I think the big surprise for me over the years has been just how many seasons some clubs like Fulham and Palace have stuck around in the Premier League. You just don’t clock it year-by-year, but suddenly they’ve got more top-flight seasons than teams with way bigger reputations historically. And yeah, Boro being ahead felt odd at first, but thinking back to their streak with guys like Juninho and Hasselbaink, it makes more sense.
If you’re into following these clubs live, especially when they’re up against the Big Six, you might want to
see here for getting tickets that aren’t crazy overpriced. Been a decent workaround when I missed out on club presales.

In a related vein I liked this graphic on loss making clubs and it reminded me of how many years Boro were up there at the start.
