I think Norwich are also trying to sign Tom Ince.
Did they have a lack of experience last season or are they short of cash?

No need for that. And certainly unwarranted if you're talking about Ashley Barnes.

Were they not the central pairing at Blackburn around 2015 when we did the double over them. With Gibson there too they have a fairly old central defence

One at 30 (Gibson) and the other two 31.

Ideal age.
In all honesty that'll be as strong a trio as exists in the Championship...add Barnes to that mix and they'll be taking no crap from anyone

Pukki has left Norwich, I'm guessing the other 'donkey' is ex-Rover Grant Hanley.

Duffy will be a good defender at that level. Hanley is one for the knacker’s yard.

Grant Hanley has been 31 for the last 8 or 9 years.

Well, Wagner seems to be putting a good wrestling team together.
I thought he was one of the new bread of managers who focus on technical ability. Takes all sorts to win.

He got Huddersfield into the Premier League with a play-off win, they hung on in their first season but were a disaster in the second which led to him doing a runner. I wouldn't like to think that Wagner would be coming through the door at Burnley any time.

What is the point of an article and discussion on a former loanee signing for Norwich ?
Have we signed anyone yet

I wonder if his dad joined UPTC!
Didn't he come on CM and fire off at people criticising his son?

He mainly slagged off the club and said that Eddie Howe had no authority and that the senior players, notably Carlisle & Alexander, were undermining the manager and running the place. He sadly passed away around three years ago not too far into his 50s.

No shame in defending your son.

Of the hundreds of players I’ve seen turn out for Burnley, Shane Duffy turning out for us has always stuck in my memory. No idea why.
