Friendly vs Sint Truiden?

Looks like Burnley have been trying to arrange a friendly against Sint Truiden in Belgium, but are having problems finding a suitable venue.

I knew we were potentially looking at a game in Belgium but had been led to believe it would be behind closed doors.

This is the team we signed Ameen Al-Dakhil I think.

Let’s hope they can sort a venue. 50 years since I’ve been to Belgium so that would be good.

Yes, that's correct. Maybe a friendly was included as part of the deal

Not aware of that, I’d no idea who we were trying to organise a game against although the likely candidates were probably Anderlecht.

This is currently the most read article on the VRT website (Flemish equivalent of BBC). It's a slow news day in Belgium :D

First thing that came to my mind also. Surely there's more 'interesting' St Trinian's screenshots you could have chosen from! 😁

Prefer the 50s version. Much better legs.

Interesting how there is far more leg on show from the 50's version

I was a young un in the 70's, a teen in the 80's and in my 20's throughout the 90's, you'd think the modern version would attract me more, but those girls in the 50's, are by far the more appealing.

Well whichever one you prefer, it seems that VK doesn't want to play them on artificial Turf. Either Diest or St truiden are not far from the E40, so easy to get to if spectators are allowed in.
I'd prefer a game in Gent - or kortrijk if that takeover goes ahead. Both less than 2 hours from calais without the prospect of skirting the Brussels ring road or the roadworks at the Kennedy tunnel in antwerp.

Sint Truiden claiming they don’t know anything about a match against Burnley!
