It's a bit like that missing Malaysian plane, or when someone gets stuck in a cave. You can't help but picture the terror.. but also it's mostly the unknown that has a grim fascination. But that shouldn’t be the case and there should be some kind of insurances in place. However, as I have already pointed out, this craft is not approved by any regulatory body and so I hope and pray they get them out but the the authorities sue the arse off the company running these trips!
The older girl deserves a medal for keeping herself and her younger siblings alive. I hope she and her family get some financial reward from the inevitable book and film rights.

I don’t think we can start deciding who should be rescued and who shouldn’t. Do we not rescue anyone who is doing leisure activities on the sea? Divers, swimmers, fishing trips etc. I understand , given the money involved that you’d feel this way and I agree that they should do the right thing and fund the rescue via their insurance or own pocket. I'm not sure I'd put them in the same category tbh.
