Hi. Long shot...but is there anybody out there who is gonna miss the City game and fancies selling their (season) tickets for that game?
I know it's holiday season, so I'm praying for a lucky break!
I need an adult and an U18, but 2 adults will do.
I just want to see all of our fabulous new signings making their debuts. (I'm sure there will be a few)

There should be around 1000 home seats available to non- ST holders.

How many STs have we sold then?
I was expecting around 3k available?

We've sold out but we have to retain 10%(?) for 'walk ons'. So if the 10% is based on home seats, there should be somewhere between 1000 to 2000 available.

According to the Premier League, our capacity is 21,944.
We have 16,500 season ticket holders and there is accommodation for approximately 2,300 for away fans.
That leaves over 3,000 seats remaining although some of those will be corporate seats.

So a lot more than 2000

Just quoting known figures which leaves that many to fill but some of those could be in the lounges so wouldn’t be basic seat tickets.

The estimate of up to 2000 seems based on 10% of total home support

As an aside, are the club following through with the selling tickets back on a per game basis?

Nothing said. No indication as to whether it had any success or not for the Cardiff game.

If anything it needs to be better advertised
I couldn't get a ticket for my kids. But when I arrived, the season ticket seat next to me was empty. His family told me that he knew he couldn't come weeks ago, but had no idea about the buy back scheme

Everton have a ticket buy-back scheme which I think would be a great idea now we’re sold out of season tickets. Basically, if you can’t get to a game you can sell your ticket back to the club on-line at 1/19th the price of your season ticket. The club then put it on sale to registered users at full match-day price, so everyone’s a winner.
Certainly in my corner of the JMU there are always loads of empty seats, even for games that are technically a sell-out, which seems a shame. Equally, with all due respect to the OP, there’s always a reluctance to lend your season ticket to someone you don’t know.

A massive positive from the club for the Cardiff game. We had three spares of people who hadn't travelled for various reasons. We rang the club with the details of the first one and they issued a replacement with no charge. We then followed up with the other two. The ticket office was excellent in their customer service and the handling of it. Result, three ticketless Clarets attended the game. None of this is rocket science!

If the OP doesn't take you up on those, I would also like 2 adult tickets for the City game. I'm very reluctant to go down the membership route as this is the only game I'lll be in the UK for.
