Don’t think they were explicit about that in the message. I’m hoping we can go & held off Genk on the off chance.

I thought the friendly on the 29th was going to be at the Turf ?
Might have misread it though.
Would be nice to have at least one at home.

It stated the trip would conclude with a friendly with opponents to be confirmed. That to me means the match is in Portugal but maybe they worded it badly

That would usually mean the trip finishes with a friendly. Therefore the friendly would be part of the trip. But I guess we will have to wait and see.

I read it as a friendly in Portugal on 29th. Also was told a friendly on 5th August but not heard anything about that and that was also abroad.

I think the one on the 5th August is off although still likely to be a game on that day.

Why is we still have to use Cold War style espionage to find out when and where we play? Only the Works Men’s Club Committee and JJ Know What’s Watt

Nothing official yet but (as posted on the Genk thread)

https://sportshuelva.com/triangular-rec ... colombino/

Much has been said about the return this summer of the long-awaited Columbian Trophy, something that will not be the case, let's remember that in 2018 the rights to it were transferred to Blackswan Media SL. Since then, the Columbian Trophy has been suspended for legal reasons.

The sports journalist Pepe Elías, has informed through the Besoccer platform, that Real Betis Balompié would have planned a friendly at the Nuevo Colombino against Burnley, a team that has recently been promoted to the Premier League (first category of English football) and that It would be held on Friday, July 28.

On the other hand, the also sports journalist David Cejudo, has pointed out through his social networks, that this would be a triangular between Recreativo de Huelva, Betis and Burnley, although for the moment none of the clubs has spoken.

If this triangle is finally confirmed, it could be a good source of income for the coffers of Recreativo de Huelva, in order to deal with new additions for the next season, although for them we will have to wait for official confirmation from the Dean club. .

Hopefully fans can go, I would prefer this match over the Genk match.
