NEWCASTLE AWAY.

Post by Targetman » Mon Jul 10, 2023 2:32 pm

The cheaper train tickets have now been released for the game at Newcastle on 30th September.

Burnley Manchester Rd via York is around 27 quid return with a railcard, however to get this price you have to wait until around 7.45pm for the return train home from Newcastle.

Another option is to go from Manchester Victoria, direct train to Newcastle with Transpenine.
Return train from Newcastle is around 5.45pm arriving back at Victoria at 8.15pm.

Price is very similar to Manchester Rd - York - Newcastle.
Bus fare to Manchester is still £2.

Some decent fares going from Leeds as well. That's the route we normally go but can't make it this year.

As I haven't climbed the mountain and will be in Scotland, I am hoping to take that on in, this season. Only 160 miles each way!

It’s their seventh game and the first one not on tv
