Confirmed and to be played in Huelva. Kick off 7:30 on Fri 28th July.

We’re going to Spain boys. Glad I didn’t book Genk now!

These are some decent opponents for pre season who will play football more on par with PL sides.

I take it there will be another game the weekend before City?

What price and is the airport close?

Going to drive from Faro. £250 each for the flights as wanted specific times. Looking at hotels in Huelva now.

Gonna be seriously hot in Huelva late July

Just recently done the trip from Faro (via Heulva) to Seville on the bus. FlixBus (green) ones, cost about 15 quid and was a breeze.

Heulva looks a dump though so definitely try to get to Seville as it is stunning! 4th biggest Spanish city and lots of Moorish/Arab sites as well as umpteen million tapas bars. Not many speak English (which I didn't mind) so a bit of basic Spanish/ Spanglish and you should get by.

It's gets VERY hot there, was 44+ for a few days when I was there, I expect it to be boiling in July.

Have you tried Olhao?

Tavira is lovely if you want to stay over the border. Not far from Huelva, hour or so drive.

Check out El Rocio for something nearby and different.

I was told it would be open to the public - I think the club have confirmed that this morning.

Flights, transfers and hotel booked.

We fly out Thursday evening to Faro and are staying in centre of Huelva.

I fly 1st thing Thursday to Faro and also staying in centre of Huelva.
Returning Sunday.
Going to have a trip up to Seville on the Saturday.

Hi, just to say expect really hot weather around Seville, i live 2hrs away & it was 43 today & high 30’s for the no few weeks & Seville will stay slightly hotter than us.

In the 40's!!!! Talk about warm weather training. Would love to go on this one, but with family holiday coming up in mid August (fly out hours after we beat City) I just can't afford it.

Flights booked Newcastle to Faro, out early Thursday am back late Sunday, Jet2 £200.UTC.
