Aye its basically the upper section so front row is actually 1/3 of the way up the stand, from what i can tell

Really struggling. Signed up for an account, got an email confirmation, but now can’t log in (for the last two days), so can’t actually buy the ticket. Even tried accessing the site with a German location through VPN.

Presume they will be available on the day, but would like to get it sorted.

Did you go through the link on here or the Mainz website? The link on here is direct to the away end I think. It was a bit of a faff registering, but once the email came through it was straight forward buying the tickets

Note for anyone who is going, on the bottom of your ticket, you will note another QR code which has RMV Kombi written on it.

This should give you free travel on the RMV public transport network all day on the 5th August until 4am on the morning of the 6th. This generally covers S-Bahn, U-Bahn, RE Bahn, tram and bus. Only thing it might not do is the ICE long distance trains.

You just need to show it to the Prüfdienst ticket guys if they ask for it. There are no barriers at stations, just get on and off. Same with the bus and tram, just walk on and sit down, then show your QR code if asked.

Yeah, just go to the Regionalbahnhof in the Airport and jump on either the RE trains or the S8 to Mainz. It's about 25 minutes.

Worth downloading the RMV app, or going to rmv.de, it's pretty straight forward to use

Hmm. Not sure why, I don't recall selecting anything special when I bought my ticket. You might have to buy a ticket at the station in that case
