“You're a good player, you destroyed us last season and I've been watching you ever since. But you need to play with more confidence, with your head up. You need to believe in yourself" (Guardiola on Redmond)

Excellent signing, but will it mean the pursuit of Tella comes to an end now?
Hope not.

If he can recreate his past form it will turn out to be an unbelievable signing. We’re going to be able to cause teams some real problems.
An on another note, I think that video could break the record for most views

Clever signing on a free, bags of experience and talent and he’s still only 29, if he was 5 years older Dyche would’ve been all over this.

all this is just on Twitter for an account with just 790.4k followers
always intriguing what kind of audience these reveals find

Timing of the video releases crucial as well - I would be very surprised if aren't looking at that for future releases -

Will prove to be a really good signing I think.
Invaluable having players like Redmond (and Townsend, for me - if he's fit I'd for sure give him a 12 month deal) around the place and passing their experiences and tips on to the likes of Zaroury, Amdouni etc. Not only that obviously - they will contribute an awful lot on the pitch too.

it has found an audience - and teletubbies was hugely significant to millions in their childhood - all these reveals are about building a level of recognition away from the traditional fanbase - The account now has more subscribers than most would recognise as our fanbase - it has (and still is growing) because of such initiatives
Interestingly our fastest growing social media account is the one on tiktok - 2 years ago it had less than 40k followers today that is 708k which is 30k more than a couple of weeks or so ago
The work and results the media team have put in and gained in that time has been truely excellent

we were saying that last summer and again in January - it was thought early evening was a good slot, seemingly not - could just be that Back to the Future is too old of a reference point for the social media generation

Great signing.
Bags of expirence, quality ball player, never appears injured
One of the reasons that Pep had a word with him may have been the fact that he was unhappy at Southampton, hence the move last season.
Bet there are a number of PL managers slightly jealous of Burnleys ability to now get these types of transfers over the line.

What a difference. Instead of players choosing other clubs they are now choosing us over other clubs. We wouldn't have had a chance with Redmond a couple of years ago.

40 years old next year, which is 10 years longer than the distance travelled back in time....
