Thought i'd post to see who else is going to the match and/or drinking in Huelva on Friday.
Had a look at the seating plan and we've sold over 200 tickets.

It's more like 300+, as one of the blocks is fully sold out, so it's not showing on the seating plan.

Yes, there are some Benalmadena Clarets going: I'm stuck at home with acute tonsillitis and am on antibiotics for two weeks, so count me out.

Exactly why I started the thread. Be good to get a group of us meeting in the same place but had a look and doesn’t look great for watering holes except the Red Lion.

Looks like there’s lots of very small bars dotted around the city, but doesn’t seem to be any squares with bars on or whatever.

Currently sat in Silken Al Andalus palace hotel with my son Hugo 100 yards across from Real Betis ground in Seville. Doing a tour tomorrow, driving down on Friday.
Hugo in his Seville shirt going down a storm!!!

I’ve stayed in that hotel a couple of times. It’s where the Betis team gather before a home game. Last time I was there it was the Seville derby at Betis and there were thousands outside the hotel chanting for hours !

After having a walk around, I have found a square in the city centre - Plaza de las Monjas, which has lots of bars and cafes on it. It’s a 20min walk to the stadium from here.

Sadly I won’t be one of them. Nothing more I’d have loved than to go and watch us in Lisbon and then travel down to the south coast of Portugal/Spain for another match - but by the time it was all announced a combination of cost/work commitments made it too difficult.
I really hope the club give us more notice if they’re doing this again next year.

Chatting to a few other Clarets this morning and they said people are meeting at The Red Lion pub this afternoon. Know a few went last night and we had a couple in there late on too. An ok pub to be fair.

According to Google, it opens at 3pm.
It looked like there were bars that open at 8 along the waterfront for after the game but as 1989 says, nothing for before.
