What was the reason for no sponsor ? Gambling companies not allowed in Spain ?

I liked the shirt from day 1 but it needs white shorts.

Having just received my replica shirt... only thing I'd change is the collar. Would be great, if only it had a button. Not really comfortable around the neck. Otherwise, a good effort. ...and yes white shorts are better.

Yes the government banned them from being advertised in 2020

I'd buy one without the logo but not with.

Not a patch on last season but it's much better without the sponsor.

Knocks spots off last years 'bird **** 2 - the return of the bird ****' abomination.
It was crap first time round, God only knows who thought it'd be a good shout to have another go...
Any b4st4rds shirt
Bird **** 1
Bird **** 2
The brown coventry shirt
The new Utd green stripey thing/our green and black effort.
The WORST five (6) football shirts of all time.
I'd happily buy this (minus the sponsor), but i think im gonna opt for the yellow away one.

You should have gone to Betis with a cardboard sign.

Opinion - I much prefer this, I didn’t like last season’s shirt.

I'd buy that and put my own 'sponsor' on it

Didn’t seem to stop Celtic (as one example) wearing their Dafabet sponsored shirt away at Real Madrid.

Same here. This shirt has similarities to the early 60s kit, my absolute favourite.

Also Real and Barca have special advertising boards. The technology allow Far East companies to superimpose their image onto the advertising hoarding for their Asian viewers. Talk already if English clubs investing in the same so that the boards can cater for several markets around the world. Each tv company choosing what they want advertised

I too like this one exactly as it is, not interested if it has a logo or sponsor on the front.

Pretty sure Man City at the least already have this.

I think the Spanish government caved to UEFA about teams in UEFA competitions being allowed to wear their normal kit.

Imagine the moronic kids with their cardboard signs, if we wore this one for the City game!

I may be completely wrong on this but I could have sworn that we have that technology in ours - just unable to use it at present.
I seem to recall Pace talking about it at some point.

Don’t ours do the same?
Based on frequency settings it shows different things to different broadcasters/regions

I can't decide whether that post is sarcasm but I do favour hooped socks. I think they could provide a distinctive identifier for the club, a sort of constant 'brand mark' whilst shirts and shorts are changed annually.

It’s not so bad after all. Didn’t like the collar when I first saw it, but it’s okay. Looks quite retro.
