Do we know when the next round of fixtures will be changed for TV?
I thought it was supposed to be last week

They’ve been done up to end of September.

The PL don’t give dates now but pledge to release tv picks no less than six weeks before for pre-Christmas games and five weeks after Christmas.

That suggests the next batch will be announced around Friday 25th August.

Cheers! I think i'll struggle to get over for the Everton game regardless. Bloody xmas market bothering tourists make the Manc - Prague leg too pricey in December

Would imagine them to be released today, not sure why they can't just release month by month on a 6 week basis or at least commit to some release dates.

Changed last year although it was a surprise they split November pick announcements. I believe we can expect some December games to be confirmed next week.

Hopefully the December and January TV picks (other than the final weekend in January) will be announced tomorrow. There is still one game holding up the announcement and that needs to be resolved first.

Scheduling discussions being finalised today with at least one game being moved to Christmas Eve - Telegraph.

Just read the Christmas eve article. I doubt our fixture away to Fulham will be a Christmas eve however if they change Liverpools game then our Boxing Day fixture could end up on the 27th an absolute crock of poo bags to the family get together arrangements I have said "yes of course we can do this that and the bloody other".....now back tracking and losing browny points by the second......should never have answered the questions!!! Football games are far more important than seeing Aunt Mable and Uncle Knob Head ;) ....imo

You’d hope it would at least be a “local” game on Christmas Eve for the fans who are attending.

Palace v Brighton is the only relatively close one but I’d be surprised if the police allow that. Villa v Sheff U at a push.

When I saw the dates of the ties for the next round of the Carabao cup I was interested which would be the TV picks.

I see they are showing 2 live games on the same night now rather than miss out on showing Man Utd

The info I had just before your post about potential release today came directly from the Premier League but there were no details offered and they were still waiting for one fixture to be resolved, this was perhaps the game.

I can't recall ever having been to a game on Christmas Eve but I guess I must have at some point.

Looking @ the fixtures the Christmas eve game will either be
Liverpool v Arsenal or West Ham v Man Utd I'm thinking. Nightmare travel for either away fans on that date tbh, especially if its a 8pm k.o

According to the article Tony, the last modern day Christmas eve fixture was 1995 Leeds 3 Man U 1.

If it is anything like the Premier league and their consideration of fans I would expect it to be either us at Fulham or Newcastle at Luton

And the one before that was Bradford City v Wimbledon in 1983 - so a really rare day for games to be played

Should be easy for United fans with them already being in London.

Football on Christmas Eve is a nonsense.

If it was a Burnley home game I don’t think I’d go.

They should set Boxing Day football in stone at Christmas and not ness with it.

I can now confirm I've never been to a Christmas Eve game. The last time we played on that date was at Everton in 1955.

Didn't they try and move a Liverpool game to Christmas Eve a few years ago but scrapped the idea after a backlash from supporters? It might have been against Arsenal, funnily enough.

I don't know the teams involved but there was a major backlash from fan groups about it which is why I am surprised it's reared its head again.

Yes, I went to that. I lived in Lytham then. Blackpool won 4-2.
Exactly a week later was my first visit to Ewood. We won 2-0.
