Welcome back everyone to a new season of the Predictor Game, it has proven to be a popular game over the past couple of years since I began to do it so I hope it remains popular this season.

So let's begin with the first game, Man City at home and as it is the first game let's start with double points on offer for all predictions.

For newcomers the rules are easy, one prediction per game per poster and you need to predict the score, first scorer and minute of the first goal in each of our games. If you are predicting a scoreline of 0-0 then please select a player to be carded first and the minute of that card to get full points.

Points are given as:

Correct minute of the first goal - 5 points
Correct minute of the first card (if predicting 0-0) - 5 points
Correct score in the game - 3 points
Correct first goalscorer - 2 points
Correct first player to be carded (if predicting 0-0) - 2 points
Correct result in the game - 1 point

If you manage to correct the score, first scorer/player carded and the correct minute you will receive 15 points (though bare in mind in the two years of running this game no poster has managed it).

*When predicting first scorer I will only be accepting the first scorer in the game whether he is a Burnley or opposition player, so please bare this in mind.
