This should be good alround as ensures anyone who wants him has to pay up a big contract and if he turns into a star and the big boys do call with mega bucks, we’re in the driving seat . If he ends up cr@p well we’d still get our money back .

Ceiling is stupidly high. Champions League in a season or two wouldn't shock me.

Same for Beyer, Al Dakhil, Muric... we are in unprecedented times for the majority of Burnley fans.

Great news. We are in a way going back to the golden age of Burnley FC, with young talent being developed at the club and hopefully sold on for a profit to be replaced by more young talent. Admittedly it is not coming via the youth set up, but if we have a scouting network who can turn up the like of Anass, Benson, Al Dhakil, Beyer and the like, developing youth players is not as critical to the project.

Exciting times, as someone once said.....

I wouldn't be surprised if we got in the Europa Conference, but Champions League?

I'll be disappointed/surprised if he goes into the 3rd year of that contract with us, think this lad has the potential to rip it up in the next couple of seasons.
