Any one who can give Berge 7 must be watching a different game to the one I saw. 33 touches and no tackles. If he was not fit then why did he play. I assume Kompany was using this game as an extension of his friendlies before we start the real season in two weeks trying a few new things out at the back, picking 5 wingers, playing Vitinho at left back for much of the game. I suppose we found out a lot about some of the players which Vincent will I am sure take on board and use to produce a better performance against less intimidating opposition.

I'm amazed to see 4's in some ratings. We were up against the best in the world and gave them a game for periods. The first goal was a shocker defensively, the second well worked and a brilliant finish, the third simply the luck of the bounce. Lots of debuts and some good moments. City will embarrass others a lot more than this! The only one who was clearly out of his depth was Vitinho and he's only playing until we find a proper LB solution. The rest equipped themselves well enough.
