I know there are a few Red Arrows spotters on here. Today they are due to pass over Trawden and Barrowford before a flypast at Clitheroe Food Festival and a display aroun 2pm at Blackpool airshow. Can anyone brighter than me pinpoint where to see them north of Barrowford? The co-orinates are
53 52 08N 002 13 20W. No doubt there is a programme for this kind of thing but I haven't found it yet . . .

Hi,
We’re possibly going to go to Trawden to catch them at my parents house at bottom of Bouldsworth Hill.

Zoom in on the map to get very detailed flight path. History of seeing them suggests they are deadly accurate.
Enjoy!!

You were speaking so much sense up to your last sentence. Unfortunately I don't think anyone who has strong beliefs on climate change thinks it related to some very skilled pilots doing exhibition displays in a Hawk T1 once a month.

The wife and I were heading to Norfolk a number of years ago and instead of driving down the A1 we were travelling through Lincolnshire en route to a stop over in Lincoln.
We were on a Layby in Lincs having breakfast and finished up watching them practise some manouevres in the sky above us ... Bloody magnificent

To say that people with "strong beliefs on climate change" wouldn't try and get The Red Arrows banned is even more nonsensical in my opinion, have you seen the likes of these "Just Stop Oil" protesters? Whilst I'm all for looking after the planet, you can't disagree some of them go far beyond the normal level of "sense". I think it's quite reasonable to assume such protestors would complain about anything they can.

Sadly there’s more chance of them packing in due to the aircraft becoming out of service and the government not ordering new ones when they had chance. Either that or they’ll be flying around in Chinese built aircraft. I don’t know what’s worse tbh!

New UK airframe by 2030 for trainer and light military. Then the UK built Tempest for next gen fighter. But yeah, Chinese built.

I live in the south of Lincolnshire and over the years I have often seen "The Reds", as they are known locally, practising overhead. They are very distracting whilst you are driving - so it is best to park up until they have finished. Amazing team of professionals.

I can imagine that if one of the pilots walked into any pub wearing his Red Arrows gear,he wouldnt be having any problems pulling

One of the historic flight providers, Aero Legends, is working on providing a Red Arrows experience. They are trying to obtain either a Hawk or Folland Gnat (previous aircraft used by the RA before the Hawk) and employ ex Red Arrows pilots in order to provide the "real deal"
