Padiham v Bury tonight

Post by ClaretsPadiham » Tue Aug 15, 2023 2:00 pm

Big crowd expected at the Ruby Civil, Bury sold 800 thats without the ones who will pay on gate. Should be over 1k easily.

Up the Storks !

Probably had to hire 30 stewards for a crowd like that.

I don't think they use any for normal games.

Any tips for parking on Saturday for the Clitheroe game? Likely to be another decent crowd.

There's a church next to memorial park entrance, with a big car park.

The cricket club have a game as well that day so you will struggle on the car park or Arbories housing estate.

Whatever you do, don't leave it on double yellows on the housing estate. One of the residents has a traffic warden on speed dial.
We have had umpires running off the match to avoid a ticket already this season.

I think he will have learned his lesson after all the abuse he received on social media.

Watched Bury play Colne, they have some quality at this level. The keeper made a world class save at Colne. Probably playing a few levels lower than he should be.
